NC State has 5 All-Americans in their 2024 recruiting class, which might just be a school record.
Athlete Jonathan Paylor, Cornerback Asaad Brown and Quarterback Cedrick Bailey will be playing in the Under Armour All-American game. Conveniently Paylor and Brown will be on Team Ice together. If you want to watch the game, it will be on ESPN at 4pm tomorrow (January 3). The game will be played in Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, where the Wolfpack just played in the Pop-Tarts Bowl.
Check out this clip of Paylor toasting UNC Commit Zion Ferguson in practice for the All-American game.
Looks like @jonathan_paylor is giving UNC commit Zion Ferguson an early taste of the next 3-4 years. Also, look at those hands! 👀👀

Ohio State Freshman Wide Receiver Noah Rogers (6’2″/201) announced today that he is entering the Transfer Portal.
BREAKING: Ohio State 5-star true freshman WR Noah Rogers has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per @PeteNakos_ https://t.co/J4R7QSK5Lm pic.twitter.com/UaDIMoZgh9
— On3 (@On3sports) January 1, 2024
Rogers was a 5-star recruit in the 20203 recruiting class out of Rolesville, North Carolina. Ultimately, Rogers chose Ohio State over NC State last year, but could he choose the Wolfpack over the Buckeyes this year?
ON3 rated Rogers as a 5-Star prospect in the the 2023 class, and the #26 overall player nationally, the #3 Wide Receiver and the #1 player in the state of North Carolina.
Rogers was teammates with Tamarcus Cooley at Rolesville, who recently transferred to NC State from Maryland.
This season, Rogers played in 4 games (14 snaps) for Ohio State, but didn’t record any stats. He will be a Redshirt Freshman wherever he lands next year.
Cooley has stated that he and Rogers would find a way to play together in college someway…somehow.
NC State already has 5 Wide Receivers coming to NC State from their high school class, with 4 of them being 4-star prospects. They already picked up a commitment from Wake Forest Transfer Wesley Grimes from the Transfer Portal, who was also a 4-Star prospect (nearly 5-stars).
Y’all…this is happening. Prepare yourself for a Red Light.

Florida State Defensive Line Transfer Malcolm Ray (6’2″/292) informed me that he will be taking an Official Visit to NC State next week, on the 3rd through the 5th.
Ray played in 13 games (all in reserve) for FSU this season, collecting 18 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in 246 snaps. His PFF grade this season was 56.2. In 2022, Ray saw more action, starting in 5 of the 13 games he played in, totaling 341 snaps. He finished his Sophomore season with 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks, with a PFF grade of 64.8. In 2021, Ray started 2 of the 10 games he played in, finishing with 24 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in 291 snaps (PFF Grade – 62.1). Ray also played in 58 snaps in 2020.
In total, Ray enters his last year of eligibility with 936 career snaps under his belt, and 7 starts. Ray was listed on the Seminoles depth chart as a Defensive Tackle, and NC State needs to add a Tackle out of the Portal, after starter C.J. Clark transferred to Miami.
Ray was originally a 3-star prospect in FSU’s 2019 recruiting class out of Miami Gardens, Florida.
